Parents of Toddlers Need to Take Alcohol Drug Classes

If you’re the parent of a very young child or toddler, probably the last thing on your mind is taking an alcohol drug class. You’re probably more concerned with the baby’s health, changing diapers and how to get enough sleep every night.

But if you’re somebody who even occasionally uses alcohol and drugs, it’s probably something you should learn more about right away. The risks of substance abuse are many and since you’re now responsible for the life of another it’s important to know those risks.

For example alcohol and drugs will certainly affect your health. You might not be able to give your child the full care that they need if you are sick because of your drug or alcohol use.

Also using drugs and alcohol can lead to accidents. You can get into a car accident more easily if you’re drinking or using drugs when driving. And if this happens you might hurt your child or not be able to care for them if you are injured.

Finally, you must start setting a good example to your child. Believe it or not a toddler knows what you are doing even if they can’t talk. And of course they are too young to take an online drug and alcohol awareness class. If they see you using drugs at a young age they will associate it with something that is OK for them to do later in life. And I don’t think that’s something that you want.

Homeschool Kindergarten Foreign Language

Homeschool Foreign Language
Homeschool kindergarden ideas can be gleaned from many sources, including education wisdom from the past. Charlotte Mason was a Victorian educator who was raised and taught at home by her parents. In later years, Charlotte developed ideas about how children should be educated by their parents,
writing articles, essays, and books full of advice. Her advice for parents is to let children “live” the foreign
language they’re studying, learning stories and songs and fun ways to use the language without
focusing as much on proficiency.”

“…children begin to use the method which is as full of promise in the teaching of languages as
in English, that is, they are expected to narrate the sentence or paragraph which has been read to
them.” Young children find little difficulty in using French vocables, but at this stage the teacher
should with the children’s help, translate the little passage which is to be narrated, them re-read it
in French and require the children to narrate it.

This they do after a time surprisingly well, and the act of narrating gives them some command of
French phrases as far as they go, much more so than if they learned the little passage from memory.
They may learn Spanish or French songs in both divisions and act out French or Spanish Fables.

This technique of reading the text attentively, followed by narration is continued as the child progresses through grades or levels of learning. This and other methods of how to homeschool are explained by Charlotte Mason.

Parenting angry kids

I have a couple of kids and at time, they really make me blow my head off. Caring for them is my top priority, yet I have to learn to manage them and at time, their temper. Some time when they get very angry for whatever reason, they either scream and shout, throw their toys around or even kick our little pet dog! This really make me very furious. However instead of using discipline, I guess I have to find some mean to manage their anger.

Well, from the internet, I know that Kids grow and develop through different stages in their life. At each development stage of the child, there are different characteristic as well as behaviors. And from this very post in a website, I found some advise on how to manage the Kids’ anger. Different angles are examined and solution explored, particularly in seeking to understand why the kids do get angry. Some of these pointers are really useful and I guess I will attempt to put into practice. You too check it out.
