Organic Baby Mattress

As people gravitate towards more natural products, it is no surprise that they are looking for organic mattresses for their babies. Vinyl and polyurethane mattresses pose a risk to infants and babies because they continually release toxic gases from ingredients like formaldehyde and arsenic that are used during construction. These harmful gases are inhaled by children while they are sleeping. Theses fumes can cause fatigue, headaches, coughing, and asthma-like symptoms. Recent studies have revealed that these toxic gases may be a culprit in Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).

Babies sleep 10 to 14 hours per day. Parents who choose an organic mattress can rest assured that their child’s mattress is free from pesticides, chemicals, and other synthetic products.
